Gutta
Stephen Nixon aka Gutta is a 20 year old producer from Vauxhall, New Jersey. Gutta grew up with early influences in Hip-Hop, R&B, and Pop. Artist such as; Lil Wayne, Outkast, The Game, Justin Timberlake, and Ne-Yo helped to shape his perception of music. He later took an interest in producers like; Zaytoven, 808 Mafia, Mike Will, Metro Boomin, and DJ Spinz. This allowed Gutta to hone his skills as a producer and to create exclusive beats for artist across different genres without losing his originality. Gutta's creative and cutting edge sound consist of heavy 808s, hard hitting drums, melodic synths, and epic samples.
In 2011 Gutta teamed up with the Movie Brothers' DJ Lilman to create the Jersey Club hit "Flex". "Flex" has a 100% popularity rating on iTunes and over 350,000 views on YouTube. In 2013 Gutta produced "Air It Out" for E.O.W. world champion and 106 & Park hall of famer Kay M. "Air It Out' showed Gutta's fans that he could step out of the Jersey Club realm and into the world Hip Hop effortlessly. During the summer of 2014 Bottom Music's artist DP premiered his single "Alright Alright" produced by Gutta on NY's Power 105.1, which stayed in weekly rotation for 2 months. Some of Gutta's other production credits include; Jayhood, Albyy, Starsky, SiNiCaL, and Zan Marino.
From Jersey Club to Trap, Hip-Hop, and R&B Gutta proves that he has what it takes to be classified as one of the music industry's elite producers for years to come.
